Lockdown extended

PM Modi said that the rapid spread of Coronavirus has made governments and health experts more alert all over the world. I have constantly discussed with the states how the fight against Coronavirus in India has proceeded, how we can win, how we can be harmed, and how to alleviate people's problems. Everyone suggests that the lockout be increased. Several states have already decided to extend the lockdown. He further said that keeping in mind all the suggestions, it has been decided that the lockdown in India will have to be extended by 3 May, i.e. by 3 May, all of us countrymen will have to remain in lockdown. During this time, we have to follow discipline in the same way as we are.

PM Modi said that I request all my countrymen that now we should not allow the coronavirus to spread to new areas at any cost. If a single patient grows locally then it should be a matter of concern for us. Therefore, we have to be very careful about hotspots. We have to keep a close watch on the places which are expected to be converted into hotspots. The creation of new hotspots will further challenge our labor and austerity.

20 April after some discount

PM Modi said that the fight against Coronavirus will be further increased in the next one week. By 20 April every town, every police station, every district, every state will be tested, how much lockdown is being followed, how much that area has protected itself from Coronavirus, it will be seen. He further said that the areas which will be successful in this test, which will not be in the hotspots and which are also less likely to be converted into hotspots, may be allowed some necessary activities from April 20. Therefore, neither do any negligence nor let anyone else be negligent. A detailed guideline will be issued by the government in this regard tomorrow (Wednesday).

PM Modi said that those who earn daily, meet their needs with daily income, they are my family. One of my top priorities is to reduce the difficulty in their lives. Now his interests have been taken care of even while creating new guidelines. At this time the work of harvesting of rabi crop is also going on. The Central Government and the State Governments are working together to ensure that the farmers have least difficulty.

More than one bed in India

He said that on the health infrastructure front too, we are moving fast. While in January we had only one lab to test Coronavirus, now more than 220 labs are being tested. Today in India, we have arranged over one lakh beds. Not only this, there are more than 600 such hospitals, which are working only for the treatment of COVID-19 These facilities are being extended more rapidly.

The sacrifice of the countrymen reduced the loss of Coronavirus

In his address to the country, PM Modi said that Namaste my dear countrymen, India's fight against the Coronavirus global epidemic is going ahead with great force. So far, the austerity of all your countrymen, because of your sacrifice, India has so far been able to avert to a great extent the damage caused by Coronavirus. You have also saved your country by suffering. We have saved this India of ours. I know how many problems you have had. Some people have trouble eating, some have trouble coming and going, then some are away from family, but you are doing your duty like a disciplined soldier for the sake of the country. I salute you all respectfully.

We did not wait for the problem

PM Modi said that friends, we are all familiar with the situation of Coronavirus in the whole world today. As compared to other countries, how did India try to stop the infection here, you have been its partner and also witness. When we did not have a single case of Coronavirus, before that India started screening travelers coming from Coronavirus affected countries. Before Coronavirus patients reached 100, India had started 14 days isolation for every passenger coming from abroad. Malls, gyms etc. were closed. He said that when we had 550 cases of Coronavirus here, then India took an important and big step to lockdown the entire India of 21 days. We did not wait for the problem to grow, but tried to stop it as soon as it appeared.

India's position better than abroad

PM Modi said that this is a crisis in which comparison with any country is not fair. But still some truths cannot be denied. It is also a fact that India is in a very stable position when compared to the powerful countries of the world. A month and a half ago, many countries stood as equal to India in the case of coronavirus infection. Today, Coronavirus cases in those countries have increased 25 to 30 times compared to India. Thousands of people have died in those countries. If India had not shown the right approach and had not taken the right decisions, then we would have wept as soon as we imagined what would be the situation of India today. But it is clear from the experiences of the past that the path we have chosen is the same for us in today's situation.

He said that the country has benefited from social distancing and lockdown. If you look at it only from an economic point of view, it seems expensive, but there can be no comparison before the life of an Indian. Today, the path that India has walked in the midst of limited resources is being discussed worldwide.

Countryman's support in seven things

1- Take special care of the elders in your home. Especially people who have chronic illness, we have to take more care of them. They have to be protected from coronavirus.

2- Completely follow the lockdown and social distancing line. Essentially use homemade face covers or masks.

3- To increase your immunity, follow the instructions given by the Ministry of Ayush.

4- To prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, download the Arogya Setu Mobile App. Get others downloaded as well.

5- Take care of as many poor families as possible. Meet their food requirement.

6- Be sensitive to the people working with your business in your industry, do not get fired.

7- Coronavirus warriors doctors of the country, policemen respect all the people. Honor them respectfully.
