The number of corona virus patients is increasing continuously in the country. The number of deaths from infections is also increasing. Two patients from Corona died in Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning. A 45-year-old Corona patient died on Sunday morning in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He was suffering from diabetes. So far five people have died in Gujarat due to Corona virus. At the same time, a patient of COVID-19 died in a hospital in Srinagar. The death toll in Jammu and Kashmir has increased to two. The death toll from Corona has crossed 20 after two new cases of deaths were reported.


At the same time,COVID-19 cases in the country have exceeded one thousand. Out of a total of 1008 reported cases, 909 are still infected with infection. There have been 21 deaths due to infection in the country with a total of 909 active cases and 80 people have recovered completely, most of whom have been discharged from hospital.


In India, the disease has spread to many states. A total of 103 districts have been affected by the highly contagious virus. Meanwhile, five new cases have been detected in Noida, a few kilometers from the national capital.

Health Ministry Joint Secretary Luv Aggarwal said that the Center is working with the State Governments on the preparation of health infrastructure. This includes construction of hospitals, blocks, separate beds and other logistics for patients infected with COVID-19.

Total cases 39 in Madhya Pradesh

Coronavirus infection was confirmed in five more patients including a 17-year-old teenager from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh in the early hours of Sunday. With this, the number of people who have been affected by this infection in the province has increased to 39. Two of these people have already died. According to the bulletin issued by the Government Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore, the new patients of corona virus infection include a 17-year-old teenager from Ujjain, besides a 21-year-old youth from Indore and three men between 38 and 48 years old. Significantly, this is the first time Corona virus infection has been confirmed in the youth of the state. According to the bulletin, a 17-year-old girl from Ujjain is admitted to the hospital in this religious city, while four other patients are being treated at a hospital in Indore.


On Saturday, more than 30 percent of the 221 corona infected grew in a single day. As of Friday there were 724 patients, which increased to 1000 in 24 hours. Earlier, on 21 March, there was an increase of 40% i.e. 92 patients in a single day. The death toll also increased to 24.

Even after this, the relief news is that India is currently not in the Third Phase of transition. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) scientist Dr. Raman R. Gangakhedkar has categorically ruled out the infection-causing community.

He said that random sampling is not necessary. No evidence of the spread of the Corona community has been found so far. New labs are constantly being approved. More than half a million kits have arrived from the US.

Online training for doctors

Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan informed that a corona center has been set up in Delhi AIIMS, from where online training of doctors and nursing staff has been started.

Increased risk of Third Stage of infection

India stands at the mouth of community infection of corona virus. Although the Union Ministry of Health and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) have said that no evidence of community infection has been found in the country so far, the number of infected people is increasing rapidly.

Ventilators are being ordered and plans are being made to use railway and military resources to combat infection.

28 army hospitals ready

The army has built 28 service hospitals. Apart from this, lab testing of infection is already going on in five army hospitals. Bharat Electronics Limited has been given the responsibility of ventilator production.

At the same time, DRDO is providing sanitizers and face masks to agencies engaged in an effort to prevent infection with safe suits for health workers. Railways is also preparing for this work on its own behalf. He has prepared an isolation ward in the general coach of the train.

Private hospitals are also improving their facilities and forming special teams for the corona virus. Sandeep Budhiraja, group medical director of Max Healthcare, said that separate facilities have been developed for corona virus patients in the Greater Noida unit.

It has 200 beds, 40 ICU beds and 160 wards. Separate wards have been set up for infected patients at BLK Hospital along with Max's hospitals at Saket and Patparganj. Apollo Hospitals Group has launched Project Kavach on 26 March covering screening, testing, information etc. on all aspects of infection.

Preparations for making medical rooms in hotels and hostels

Chairman Pratap C Reddy told that the group is going to launch Project Stay I soon. There is a provision for making medical rooms in hotels and hostels for isolation. This facility will be in Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore and Delhi. Initially there will be 50 beds in every city and 50 new beds will be added every three days. There are plans to build 500 medical rooms across the country under the project.

Be prepared for the increasing number of state patients

The country has a lockdown of 21 days from Tuesday night. Meanwhile, the central government has directed the states to keep a separate hospital ready for the treatment of patients infected with the corona virus. They have also been asked to be prepared to deal with the increasing number of patients.

Each district will get 100 beds

The Government of Chhattisgarh has assured to provide 100 beds in each district of the state. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday chaired a high-level meeting and discussed fighting the epidemic. So far, six people have been found corona positive in the state, while reports of 81 people are yet to come.

Patients exceeded six lakhs in the world

The infection has been found in 6.17 lakh citizens of the world by Saturday evening. The virus has reached 199 countries till Saturday and has killed 28.3 thousand people.
