To save the country from the threat of Corona epidemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced a lockdown across the country for 21 days i.e. 14 April from midnight on Tuesday. In a second address to the nation after just 72 hours, the Prime Minister said, "There is no other option but social distance to protect the lives of the country and the citizens." He appealed to the people to make their houses Lakshman Rekha and said, "Jaan hai jahan hai." Terming the pandemic as a litmus test for the country, the Prime Minister announced a package of Rs 15,000 crore for preparations to deal with it.
The Prime Minister said, this lockdown is only a curfew, but the public is strict with the curfew. It is wrong to think that social distance is only for the sick person. It is time to maintain patience and discipline. Ignore the rumors. Do not eat medicine without doctor's advice. What is necessary to save lives has to be given priority. He appealed to the people to stay where they are and stay in their homes. The Prime Minister said, I am sure that every Indian will follow the instructions of the government and local administration in this hour of crisis.

If not 21 days, the country will lag behind for 21 years

 He said that the lockdown of 21 days is a long time and will have to pay a huge economic cost, but the government is ready for it. He appealed to the people that during this time people should stay where they are and stay in their homes. Also said that people should not go off the road. An infected person knowingly or unknowingly infects many people. It spreads very fast. It took 67 days for its patients to reach the number one lakh, while only 11 days for the next one lakh to be infected, while only four days to reach two to three lakhs.

 Italy, America's health facilities are excellent yet uncontrolled

 PM Modi said that health facilities are excellent in developed countries like Italy, America, yet the governments there failed to control them. In such a situation, avoidance is the only solution. He said that the countries whose citizens did not get out of the houses, they controlled them rapidly. Therefore draw Laxman Rekha outside the house and do not leave the house for 21 days

Curfew will be imposed if not accepted

 The central government has asked for a curfew if the number of infected patients rises sharply amid the ongoing fight against the Corona virus and states do not follow the lockdown. On Tuesday, the Health Ministry reported 68 new patients with 536 infected. Of these 41 are foreigners while 37 have been cured. The death toll in Tamil Nadu has reached 11 after one person died.

Educational institutions across the country closed till April 14, all examinations postponed

 After a three-week lockdown, educational institutions across the country will now be closed till April 14. The government had just decided to remain closed till 31 March. It has also been ordered to extend the schedule of annual examinations to entrance exams and competitive examinations. The Ministry of Human Resources has also asked all institutes to prepare an alternate calendar of academic session.

ICMR to examine antibodies to corona vaccine given in Patna AIIMS
