Due to continuously increasing cases, the number of active cases is also increasing. There are currently 40 thousand 212 active cases of corona in Delhi. Out of this, 23 thousand 301 people are getting health benefits by staying in home isolation. About 11 thousand people are admitted in government hospitals while other patients are undergoing treatment in private hospitals. According to the Health Bulletin, a total of 54 thousand 893 corona samples have been investigated in Delhi today. Out of this, 23 thousand 433 samples have been tested through RTPCR / CBNAT / TRUNAT medium while 31 thousand 460 samples have been tested through rapid antigen test. So far 58 lakh 15 thousand 971 samples have been investigated in Delhi.

'Lockdown' in these parts of Delhi, orders issued to close markets

In Delhi, a lockdown has been imposed in some areas of Punjabi Bagh and Nangloi in Delhi by an order of the District Magistrate. The term lockdown has not been used in the order issued by the administration, but the markets have been ordered to close completely. Earlier, the Delhi government had indicated that a lockdown would not be imposed in the entire capital, but in areas where the transition would be more severe, a lockdown could be imposed. This order is being viewed in the same context. The order issued by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority said that markets in Punjabi Basti, some areas of Nangloi and some areas of Rohini have been ordered to be closed as some of their areas follow instructions to wear masks and maintain physical distance. Was not being done correctly. The order has been implemented in collaboration with the police and local administration. Markets in these areas will remain closed till 30 November. Northern Municipal Mayor Jai Prakash told Amar Ujala that people in some areas of Nangloi were not following the rules of wearing masks properly due to which the infection was increasing there. To control them, it has been decided to close the markets in these areas. Mayer said that in areas where the situation in Corona would be critical, a decision could be taken to close the markets in a similar manner. The past 121 people have died and 6746 new cases have been reported from Corona in Delhi. A total of 54893 tests have been conducted in which about 12.29 percent people have been found to be corona positive. However, in the meantime 6154 people have also gone back to their homes after recovering.

Supreme Court seeks report from all states on COVID-19 status

The country's highest court heard the deteriorating conditions of the corona virus in Delhi and several states of the country. The Supreme Court raised concerns about the corona virus situation in Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Assam. The court asked the state governments about the remedy. A status report has been sought from the governments till Thursday. Now the hearing in this case is to be held again on Friday.

The Supreme Court has asked all the states to file status reports on the steps taken by them. Apart from this, some steps are to be taken and governments have also been asked for the necessary help from the Center to deal with the COVID19 situation.

CM said, 'The fast growing cases in Delhi are a matter of concern and curfew was also imposed in Ahmedabad. I do not want a second lockdown but you too should understand the seriousness of the situation. I have been advised to impose night curfew but I believe that nothing can be achieved with such restrictions. '


Thackeray said, 'I thank you for celebrating the fireworks-free Diwali. I express my disappointment that Kovid-19 prevention regulations are not being followed in many places. I advise you to avoid unnecessary movement here and there and if you have to go out, then please make a mask and walk with each other. '


More than five thousand cases were reported in Maharashtra for the fifth consecutive day on Sunday. On Sunday, 5,753 new infection cases were reported in the state. Mumbai accounted for 20 per cent of the new infections reported on Sunday, with 1,135 new cases reported. So far 17,80,208 cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra.
