Got a big success? The Corona vaccine will be available by mid-2021

Coronavirus vaccine trials are underway in many countries of the world. American pharma company Moderna's vaccines are in the final stages of testing. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has said that the United States will also help other countries when the Corona virus vaccine is ready. The Trump administration aims to have the vaccine ready by the end of this year or early 2021.

When the coronavirus vaccine is ready, then we will distribute it across the country with full speed. He said that just like we have supplied ventilators and other essentials, we will also give vaccines to other countries of the world.

On Monday, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) said that American scientists have begun Phase III trials of a potential vaccine for the corona developed by pharma company Moderna. The company has started trials with 30,000 adults. This includes such people, who have not had any respiratory problems. The US government has supported nearly one billion dollars in this vaccine project.

More than 150 vaccines are currently in different stages of testing worldwide. Human trials of two dozen vaccines are underway. Meanwhile, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines have moved towards the final phase of testing. Companies are trying to bring the vaccine to market by the end of this year.

According to Johns Hopkins University statistics, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in the United States has exceeded 43 lakh 51 thousand, while more than 1 lakh 49 thousand 250 people have died. Brazil has the most cases of corona after the US. 24.83 lakh people are infected in Brazil and 88 thousand people have lost their lives.

Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine trial begins

US-based Pfizer and Germany-based biotech firm BioNotech have begun a trial of a jointly developed vaccine for the diagnosis of coronavirus. Thirty thousand people between the ages of 18 and 85 will participate in these tests in the second and third stages. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently approved the rapid development of the vaccine BNT162B2 on behalf of the companies on Monday. All of FDA's protocols will be followed in Phase II and Phase III trials of the vaccine.

Catherine Janssen, Pfizer's vice president and head of the company's vaccine research and development, said in a statement that our selection of BNT 162B2 for testing is part of a broader, collaborative and unprecedented research and development program. Pfizer and BioNotech announced last week that the US government had agreed to pay $ 1.95 billion for 100 million doses. In this case, BioNotech CEO and co-founder Ugur Sahin said that starting the second-third phase of testing is a major achievement. We want to provide a powerful vaccine as soon as possible to compete with Coronavirus.

Vaccine to be available by mid 2021

The coronavirus vaccine is unlikely to become widely available before the middle of next year. We should assume that vaccines for the wider population will only be available from the middle of next year.

Moderna's corona vaccine stops the virus

Amidst the coronavirus havoc, great hope is once again raised about the vaccine. Moderna's vaccine on the coronavirus has proved to be completely effective in trials on monkeys. A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine says that the US-based biotech firm Moderna's Kovid-19 vaccine has developed a strong immune response in trials on monkeys. It was also successful in preventing the Corona virus from being copied in the nose and lungs of Covid-19 vaccine monkeys.

The vaccine prevented the virus from being copied to the monkey's nose, and this is particularly important because it prevents the spread of the infection to others. It is worth noting here that when the Oxford University vaccine was tried on monkeys, similar results were not found. However, that vaccine prevented the virus from entering the lungs of animals and making them very ill.

In Moderna Animal Study, three groups of 8 monkeys were given either vaccine or placebo. The dose was 10 micrograms and 100 micrograms. Monkeys that were vaccinated produced high-level antibodies to kill viruses that attack a portion of the SARS-Cove-2 virus for use in invading cells.

The point to note here is that the level of antibodies in both dosed monkeys was higher than the antibodies present in humans recovered from Covid-19.

Vaccines have also induced the production of a distinct immune cell (immune cell) known as T-cells (T-cells), which may help promote overall response. However, the concern here is that under-trial this vaccine may actually reverse the disease rather than reverse it.

Four weeks after the scientists gave the second injection of vaccine to the monkeys, they were exposed to the Covid-19 virus. The coronavirus was transmitted directly to the lungs through the nose and tube in the monkeys. In the group of eight-eight monkeys with low and high doses, seven-seven lungs had no replicating virus two days later. However, the monkeys who were given the dose with placebo, all had the virus.

WHO's warning- Do not misunderstand the Corona virus, it is not a seasonal disease

The World Health Organization (WHO) has once again warned people on the coronavirus. WHO states that people should not live in any kind of misconception that coronavirus is a seasonal disease that will subside as the seasons change. World Health Organization spokeswoman Margaret Harris said in a virtual briefing that the corona virus epidemic is a big wave.

Harris also warned against any negligence on the virus during the summer season in the Northern Hemisphere. Harris said the corona virus is not like any common influenza, which diminishes as the weather changes.

Coronavirus cases rising again in Hong Kong

WHO officials have also voiced concerns about rising coronavirus cases in Hong Kong. He said that this virus is beyond the control of humans, although together we can prevent it from spreading. Harris said that we are still struggling with the first wave of coronavirus. It is going to be a big wave which is going up and down but the best thing is that we can make this curve flat.

Need to be more vigilant and follow safety rules

Pointing to the increasing cases of corona in the US during the summer season, Harris said that we need to be more vigilant and follow safety regulations. He also warned people not to gather together. Harris said that people are still seeing it as a seasonal disease. We all need to understand that this is a new virus, which is behaving differently and this virus is going to live in every season.

Be careful if you have respiratory disease

Harris urged people to get the flu vaccine and said that if you already have respiratory disease, it can be more dangerous for your health.
